WEEK 1 is DONE!: 6/16/15

I am overjoyed at the emails, texts, and words I have received the past week. Where I appreciate all of your kind words, the people you should be thanking are yourselves! Gina, Jen, Lisa, Kelly, Erwin, Cyndi, and so on have all lost lbs. Anywhere from 4 – 9 lbs. of weight loss per person! If this was your goal then congratulations, those first initial lbs. are the hardest to lose and to keep off. We still have 2 more weeks left and that is some AWESOME improvement. Gina also linked 22 double unders for the first time and Karen got 10 pull ups on the minute with NO BAND which was the first time she had ever done that. Others are seeing a significant difference in their energy levels throughout the day as well as a more restful and sound sleep throughout the night. This is all due to the balancing of your macronutrients to both speed your metabolism and balance your hormone levels. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Laura Pruitt and Kelly Metcalf are in Palm Springs enjoying their vacation while sticking to the program. They have attended CrossFit classes and have subbed out the couple of alcoholic beverages as their carb. BUT they both did 3x or more WODS and completed the challenge to take points away.

Day 2: 6/9/15

Love getting vocal, email, and facebook feedback from Day 1. I will respond to all of your emails and questions I promise… I do have a 9 – 5 job too ya know πŸ˜‰ But the folders are at the gym. A few more people need to pay and I have a couple other people interested in starting so I will set them up as well. Keep track of everything in your journal! Keep track of points, etc. Prep your meals! Thank you Karen for reaching out and telling me how full and satisfied you were all day yesterday – she said this is the first time in years!! That dinner looked delicious by the way Mike (even if you didn’t count your veggies right) πŸ˜‰ ! So proud of you all for giving this a shot! And thank you Roberta for the words in your email! It is true, all of us can improve our diet and lifestyle in some way!

I will be looking up recipes for people like me, Vieve, Laura, Britt, and Roberta who are constantly on the goΒ all day long!Β I will post recipes and articles into the “Food for Thought” section of the blog! The biggest piece of advice I can give you busy people is to plan your meals the night before and prep them or prep them the week before! πŸ™‚

I sent Laura over her Meal Prep Menu based on her frame and plan she is on. (Maintainer/Force). Here is her meal prep for tomorrow! This is more than she would typically eat but she will feel energized and her meals will be perfectly balanced with a protein, carb, and fat. Mike and Karen headed to Costco today to load up on what they needed.

We have received so many packets and are sorting through the 30 or so now. We will respond to them this evening or tomorrow. Also expect an email with a detailed explanation of what this diet requires of you.
